Executive Director Patrick McGrath has been working in the field of Human Services since finishing his BA in Psychology from Nazareth in 1992. He has worked in many roles, including direct service, clinical, management and, since 1998, as the head of Grace Community Services. He received his Master’s Degree in Health Services Management from the New School for Social Research when they piloted a program in Rochester in 2000.
Patrick is deeply involved in the quality of life of the individuals served by Grace Community Services. He has been known to devote days on end helping to advocate for families for the services and help that they need. If you are thinking about Grace Community Services for a family member, you won’t just meet Patrick in the beginning of the process. He is involved with and invested in every staff member and every individual we serve.

An avid photographer, art collector, home improvement DIY-er and historic landmark buff, Patrick also gives of his time regularly, volunteering for Sonnenberg Gardens and sitting on the Board of the Verona Street Animal Society.
Patrick and his wife, Gretchen live in Fairport, NY with their two small children and a never-ending home improvement ‘to-do’ list in their historical home.
